I get a “Error Sending Code” when tapping agree to parent privacy disclosure, after entering child’s date of birth. Same issue when inviting member via text.

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.
Try a restart.

Try a forced restart.
If necessary
Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.
Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
contact Apple ID Support.
Apple Support by e-mail or chat Work through the screens to get a chat option.
Or fill out and submit this form. The form is for iTunes, but it will get passed to the ID Support section.
This is happening to us also. Got our daughter an iPhone for Christmas and cannot add to family sharing. Thought is was because we were out of country but now back home and same issue, even after re-start. Frustrating...
Which cell phone carrier? We have verizon and I am wondering if a verizon or apple issue. Cost 50$ to call apple support. Will do if we have to but annoying that an issue likely on their end will cost me money.
Ive tried two different WiFi networks. I’ve home key/lock button rebooted it sever times. I’m also getting the same exact error on my other apple device, which is why I haven’t hard reset the iPad.
If this is on an ipad seems it is not a cell phone carrier issue. Ok, I will call apple support the next time I have a few spare hours (never) thanks
