iPads and mice
Now that iPad has a keyboard, it's time to allow mice. The hardware does not need to be changed, only the code. If I have my hands on a keyboard, I want to move my right hand five inches to a mouse that has more precision than my fat finger.
When at home, working at my desk, I want to sync my iPad to a larger display. At 66 years larger displays are more than a luxury. Heck... I want all my iOS devices to interface with keyboards, mice and displays, then I will alway have my personal computer with me. I can use keyboards, mice and displays at other locations.
Back in the rebirth of Apple, my bondi iMac came with only USB ports. I had to pay extra for a USB printer because they were on the rare side. Now almost all printer have only USB and wireless connections.
Apple has a history of cannibalizing older products. The MacBooks and MacBook Airs can be replaced with iPhone and iPads that work as is... but also work with mice, keyboards, and displays. The lighting connector bluetooth can bind them all together.
