Could not activate iPad

My iPad was working successfully when I placed on charge but it now indicating:

Your iPad could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iPad to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes.

If this problem persists, contact Apple Support at apple.com/support

WHAT DO I PLEASE DO?

IPad nit set up Question: Q: "Could not activate iPad" My iPad 2 was working just fine until yesterday. When i switched it off.
