My iPad 2 was working just fine until yesterday. When i switched it off. And my screen said:
"Could not activate iPad"
"Your iPad could not be activated because activation server cannot be reached. Try connecting your iPad to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes."
"If this problem persists, Apple Support at apple.com/support."
So what do i do to fix it?

it say : ‘ try connecting your ipad to itunes’. so do it
check in your pc if it is installed ( for the windows )
I think you have to reset it form itunes… hope you have a backup
or if while you connect it, it says something, do it
and contact the apple support

3] computer being used for activation has been used to jailbreak an iOS device in the past.
Solution - use a different computer.
4] iPad has been jailbroken. Your favorite search engine may provide some direction, but jailbreaks often prevent
activations/updates from succeeding. Per Terms of Use for this forum, discussion of jailbroken iPads is
prohibited.
5] your region and/or timezone settings are inconsistent with your actual location. Solution - set region and/or timezone correctly.
