Old Sim Card in new iPhone 11

Just purchased a new iPhone 11 at an Apple store. They were out of "new" Sim Cards for my carrier (AT&T) so they used the one from my old iPhone 7. It is working but thinking I should pester them later to give me a new card. Will a 3 year old card have any effect on the speed of the new phone etc.? Should I be concerned about old tech in a new version of the phone?

No. It won't have any negative effect. There is nothing to be concerned about.
