Can you use Target Disk Mode to move a Boot Camp partition to a new Mac?

Link Bootcamp after clean install Hi Im sure the answer is here somewhere but I can't find it. For various reasons I would like to do a clean install of Big Sur. My problem is I have an active Boot Camp partition that works just fine. Is there anyway I can do a fresh install of the Mac OS and relink to the existing Boot camp partition or can someone advise me of best practise to go forward, maybe clone the windows installation and reinstall? No. Please look for third-party software for backup/restore of Windows installed via Bootcamp. VMs can be migrated (if compatible) using corresponding tools provided by the VM vendors.
