Apple Watch (Series 1) Stuck on progress bar. Tried force restart but kept hanging. Unable to pair, starts to flicker passcode screen before showing frozen progress screen. How to fix?

Hello JoshIGuess and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see you are having difficulty pairing a Series 1 Apple Watch with an iPhone.

Start by ensuring the iOS on the companion iPhone is updated.

Also make sure that both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on the iPhone and power cycle both devices.

If you continue to have issues pairing, reach out to Apple Support for additional options.

Thank you for the reply, it helped a bit. But with this Apple Watch, the iPhone that it was paired to was reset, so the Apple Watch had nothing paired to it. And like I said, it’s just stuck on this screen. Also, as I said before, the iPhone that was once paired with the watch was reset and later on, updated.

Should I retrieve a video of the Apple Watch booting up?

Thanks
