moving fcpx libraries to new mac without an external hd

Just bought a new 16" MacBook Pro to replace my 2011 17" MacBook Pro. What a nightmare!

I replaced cause several keys quit working and no one could repair.

I finally got Migration to work and my video has been moved.

I need to get my FCPX library to new Mac without moving to an external HD.

How do I do this? I have an ethernet cable. That is how I migrated video and all documents.

Not sure what you did, but if the library was in your system drive why didn’t it come over when you migrated the users from one computer to the other?

If you use a time machine back up will restore all your files including libraries any external links can be relinked

If you copy your user and data you will also restore all your files and the relink will be necessary for files outside the library
