6s Hotspot not working for Tivo or Roku

Hi,

I have a iPhone 6s that I have used as a hot spot for my Android tablets as well my MacBooks. I am now trying to use it with my Tivo and my Roku but it just won't connect. I have used my old Android phone as a hotspot for for both, so I am not sure what is happening.

The iPhone 6s is using iOS 13.1.3 and I'm using MetroPCS with a strong signal that works for me to post this using my MacBook Air.

Can someone give me some suggestions? Thanks! Dave

Hello DavidCox1 and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see you're having an issue connecting an iPhone 6S via the Personal Hotspot feature to 3rd-party video streaming devices. As you are able to connect both Android and Apple devices to the same hotspot, it's confirmed that the iPhone is passing data as expected.

You may want to take a look at the Roku support site where some other users have posted about similar issues complete with solutions.

Beyond that, Roku and Tivo support will be your best sources for info on connecting to their devices.
