Serial number is not valid

I bought my iPhone SE from Machine Sdn Bhd (Apple Store in Malaysia) in 2017. I assumed that it is an original set. Recently I check my serial number, to my horror, it's serial number is not recognized! My daughter iPhone SE which is bought from another Machine shop is also not recognized! what should we do? Or who should we contact?

Your issue is with the store you bought the devices from, contact them.

I have already contacted them with my receipt. They explained it away saying my phone is an old model. I want to report them to Apple, how do I do it?
