Syncing podcasts

Although I have the sync option selected on both my iPad and iPhone, podcasts I recently added on my iPad are not showing up on my iPhone. How do I fix this? Apple only says to select the sync option and it’s always been set on my devices.

Podcast Preferences I am trying to sync my podcasts from my phone to my Mac. In the online instructions it says to "In the Podcasts app, choose Podcasts > Preferences > Advanced, then make sure “Sync follows across devices” is selected." For the life of me, I am not able to see in the podcast app where "preferences" is located. Any advice would be very welcome. Thank you

Podcast not syncing Currently using iphone 7 and ipad air 2019. Both updated to iOS13.2.3. Whatever Podcast I am playing on my iPad is getting displayed on my iPhone, but the same is not happening for iPad!!! Any talks on this??? I toggled the podcast sync on and off, even backed up icloud... but none of them worked.

Have you subscribed to the shows? I think it only synchs subscribed podcasts. Not sure why 🤷‍♀️
