Since updating to ios 13.3, 4G data support is no longer working on both nano sim & eSim lines. Is there a solution for this?
I have an iPhone XS Max and have been using it for dual sim since September - without issue.
The physical sim card in the device is a Vodafone sim card and the eSim is an EE eSim. I have 4G data inclusive on both mobile plans, however I prefer to use the EE data as the 4G is faster than the Vodafone data.
Since updating to IOS 13.3, the EE mobile data doesn't work alongside the Vodafone 4G data.
After calling my providers, it turns out that the Vodafone 4G profile settings are overriding the EE ones, and the only way to use the EE 4G data is to remove the Vodafone APN profile and then use the EE.
Both don't seem to work in harmony with each other anymore.
Following this, I got creative and played around with it a little and removed the profile settings for the Vodafone sim and the 4G seems to work without the profile settings.
Will this be problematic?
