CarPlay not working after 13.3 update on BMW X3

I have a 4 day old 2020 BMW X3. CarPlay worked perfectly when I drove off lot. Apple upgraded to 13.3 on my phone last night now car play no longer works. Tried rebooting everything. Any advice?

If you hold down the volume button on BMW radio for 20-30 seconds it resets the system. That did the trick.

Holding down the volume knob for 20-30 seconds didn’t work. iOS 13.3 version broke. The ability for the BMW’s to make hand-free calling with the iPhone.

Remove all previous entries of the iPhone from your car and from your iPhone and try setting them up again.
