I have an Iphone XS Max, it has a year of use, and it's shattered at the back glass, but besides that, it is in very good condition, works perfectly, all the buttons turn on, etc.
Does apple give me any money if I turn in the phone or can I use it for trade-in ?

We wouldn't be able to advise you here. You'd have to take it into an Apple Retail Store for evaluation and the staff there would be able to tell you. This is a 100% up to Apple type of policy.

It has no trade in value.
