Is it normal that Touch Bar half freeze

It happens to me once or twice a day it only freeze on the right size I can't adjust volume brightness or call Siri. But on the other side like exit fullscreen button and time control(I don't know what it's call) it working fine. Is it just a normal thing with Touch Bar or is it a technical problem that I need to get it to apple store?

Touchbar causing complete system freeze The issue: Tapping any function on the touch-bar works fine but once keeping a function pressed, so for example upping screen brightness; the animation of the button stays stuck in the pressed down animation and the whole system freezes. When the freeze occurs the cooling fans start ramping up but nothing happens for minutes, I can however move the mouse but not move (any window, object) click or do anything with it. The issues happens without fail every single time I try to hold a button on the touchbar, it's not random at all. It's my second unit to show this issue, the first had it straight out of the box though, so I returned it immediately and as it was very easy to replicate the issue in the store got a new model right away. This one has lasted me since end of April but today out of nothing I get the issue again. I wonder if other people are experiencing this and if so if you know a fix. This is not normal. A standard troubleshooting step is to reset the System Management Controller .
