My IMessage keeps saying waiting for activation
iMessage give message “waiting for activation” and will not activate.
iPhone 7, iOS 13

Hi - after reading every forum, blog, and numerous calls with Apple support, this is what I did to fix 'imessage waiting for activation':
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
None of the other solutions worked. Hope this helps.
