allow apps downloaded from App Store & unidentified developer

I am on MacOS Mojave 10.14.6. Under system preferences, the security & privacy, General tab, allow apps downloaded from App Store & unidentified developer, the allow button is not showing. How do I fix?

Hello all, I am trying to figure out why I am not able to select the option to allow apps downloaded from Anywhere when I open System Preferences > Security & Privacy?? I makes me login to make changes, but the option Anywhere is no longer available. The only choices provided are to allow apps from App Store / App store and Identified Developers now, neither of which is what I am looking for. I am confused what has changed here, as it used to offer a choice to open apps downloaded from Anywhere before, but that seems to have been removed somehow.... Can someone explain to me how / why this occurred please, and Thanks in advance??

open apps that dont originate from the app store Hi all, i have the exact situation where described here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491 but when opening system preferences security/privacy i dont see the button "open anyway". What am i missing ? Many Thanks.

Cannot set Mojave Privacy Allow Apps setting Privacy setting for 'Allow Apps downloaded from' keeps defaulting to Anywhere. I change it to App Store and identified developers, lock the window, reopen Privacy and the Gatekeeper setting has reverted to 'Anywhere'.

Just go there and allow every app, every time ...
