Transfering photos from iPhone to PC

I have tried and tried again and again to transfer my photos.

I have used a new cable, checked my version of iTunes is up to date. My Windows 10 is also up to date. I have restarted both my phone and my computer. I have used different cables and ways.

My phone does not always ask to "Trust This Computer". Sometimes it does and other times it does not. I have talked to Geek Squad and they were unable to help me. They made sure there was nothing wrong with my PC. Since I was unable to transfer my photos for quite some time I now have quite a few to transfer.

The next apple store is more than 90 miles away.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Thank you

If you want to transfer photos to your computer, you really don't iTunes at all.

Your phone should be seen by your computer just like it would see a digital camera. See this link for guidance --> Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
