iCal view when horizontal
I have just discovered, when teaching her how to use iCal, that in the horizontal mode, she has a day/week/year option at the top of her screen. I DON'T.
I am using IOS 13.3
Why?
iPhone X, iOS 13

And what device does "her" have? The ability to switch between the three modes on the iPhone is determined differently than it is on an iPad or computer. With the iPhone, if you wish to see the week view, you put the device into landscape (you use horizontal) mode. In portrait mode, you will see the daily mode. You won't see a month mode unless you tap on the month name when in portrait mode. If you turn the device to landscape when in month, you will see the weekly mode again. The iPhone does not display the monthly mode with events.
If this does not explain your issue, then please explain what devices you both have.

Sorry, she has an iPhone X just like me.
I have my iPhone in front of me in month calendar view. I tap on December in portrait, then turn horizontal. What comes up is a weekly view.
When we turn her phone horizontal, at the top is a line which says - day - week - month. That has not come up on my phone, only the days of this week.
Sorry, I've got the screen shot and saved it to my iMac desktop, but when I try to insert it into my reply, it eliminates everything else.
Just insert the screenshot. Use the photo icon at the bottom of the text box to insert it. You can also click on it and adjust the size of the screenshot by clicking and dragging on the corners.
I am working on this on my desktop iMac. Hey, it works!
If this is the exact same size phone, can you take a screenshot and post that here to show that screen?
