crashing freezing after catalina update
Is there a fix for the problems caused by the Catalina update. My Mac Pro is continually freezing and crashing. Also, some of my applications no longer work.

If you had 32-bits apps like Microsoft Office 2011, they won't work on Catalina.
If there is an app that doesn't work anymore, go to the vendor's website and see if there is an update available.
About the freezing problem: reboot in Safe mode : be patient: rebooting in safe mode can take several minutes

An SMC reset won't do any harm. Just try it: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
