iPhone X: Dual SIM with two nano-SIM cards

I found this link for the following iPhone models that support dual SIMs with two nano-SIMs.

To use Dual SIM, you need iOS 12.1 or later, two nano-SIM cards, and one of these iPhone models:

  • iPhone 11
  • iPhone 11 Pro
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • iPhone XS Max
  • iPhone XR

I found that my iPhone X also had the same SIM card tray as illustrated below. Does iPhone X support dual SIMs with two nano-SIMs?

iPhone X does NOT support dual SIM functionality.

The dual sim functionality (1 eSIM + 1 Physical SIM OR 2 Physical SIMs) did not arrive in iPhones until the iPhone Xs in 2018.
