Apple watch erase all content and settings loop

Hello

I have Apple watch series 1 38mm, and just updated to the latest watchOS 2 days ago (with my iPhone 6s)

Tonight after charging it for sometime, when I took it, the side button was unresponsive and the watch restarted by itself. It gave me the Erase all content and settings option, and it failed every time I tried.

It always stuck at around 75% from completion

I've tried unpairing it from my iPhone and remove from Find My iPhone, no luck.

Thanks, I actually did a long-press while the watch was going in the boot process (the cycle). Then watch broke the cycle and came out of the loop : to the pairing mode.

After that, i paired the my iPhone and completed the setup. Now the watch is working fine.

I am happy to tell you that I escaped from the loop.

My watch has been recover now!!!

haha are you sleeping, in Shanghai timezone is afternoon, my watch reborn in last 10 mins, my guide works on me, you can try it, maybe 1st step is not necessary

How many time did you click Cancel button after the watch restarted ?

I'm facing with the loop again after upgrade :(

Yes i have this same problem. I don't know, but It’s acting like it can not hold power. Like it need to be plugged in to charging while doing this loop thing

Seem only Apple Watch serie 3 has this error. I hate this product :(

I don’t know. Looks like its good for nothing. :’) and someone just told me to use it as a paper weight :3 a bloody expensive one. -.-

you said your watch just got fixed for a moment. Please tell me did the battery power last while it got fixed? Or it just acted like it still needs to be docked to the charger.

Yes, it works as fine, all functions are normal
