Apple Watch not factory resetting.

My watch will not factory reset, it will go through the entire process. But once it comes out of the processing, it’s like it never went into erase mode, and I’m back to it locked out. I have also hard booted it and rerun erase procedure.

I have followed all of the correct procedures for both - multiple times but it is stuck in this endless loop.

I would say best to contact Apple Support about that. It could be the case that your iPhone with iOS 14 is not able to complete that reset process, if you had an older watchOS version still running on the watch before starting this reset.
