Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
iPhone 6s Plus automatically turns ringer on and off. A pop up message appears randomly on screen saying ringer is being silenced, vibrates, then message disappears. I’ve cleaned ringer switch and rebooted several times.

Sounds like the mute switch is physically failing.
