ipad identification

hello to everyone

I have a problem with my ipad 7 , brand new. When I try to use Airdrop from my macbook, a ipad is showing but to a different name (one in my contacts) And I tried everything to erase or change that, but no result. My ipad is name to my right name but it does not show, only the ipad with? other name. Any idea ? Thanks

My apologies, this was not in the same location as I thought it was on the Macintosh. On the Mac it is called “My Card”. Here is an Apple Support document on how to setup your My Card. Please verify that it is properly set to your contact card. Also check in System Preferences > Users to verify that your user account is set correctly.
