nothin but trouble with catalina should I downgrade

Should I downgrade back to Mac Mojave I had no problems there. Catalina gives me nothing but problems and many of my apps are greyed out.

Can I downgrade to Mojave? Mojave will not download successfully from the appstore. It's probably because Catalina is is horrible and slow.

Yes, you should. If "many of your apps are greyed out," you weren't ready to upgrade to Catalina in the first place.
