nothin but trouble with catalina should I downgrade

Should I downgrade back to Mac Mojave I had no problems there. Catalina gives me nothing but problems and many of my apps are greyed out.

How do I get rid of Catalina? I updated my MacBook Pro 13 inch mid 2012 to Catalina because it was struggling with many websites. Catalina is horrible. My computer is s.l.o.w. Can I downgrade to Mojave? Mojave will not download successfully from the appstore. It's probably because Catalina is is horrible and slow.

Yes, you should. If "many of your apps are greyed out," you weren't ready to upgrade to Catalina in the first place.
