iPhone X will only work in the fridge

I’ve had my iPhone X for almost 2 years and it’s increasingly harder to keep it cool while charging (often even when not charging). For the last couple of months I’ve restored to literally storing it in the fridge (signal is fine in their apparently). If I have it out on the desk etc it just gets too hot soon as I have even one app running, eg Spotify overheats the phone to the point of shut down within 10-15 mins.

Leaving it in the fridge is a pain as I have to have a charge cable running into the fridge and numerous times the phone gets knocked out and onto the floor so it’s not got several screen cracks (if I have it in it’s cover it cools even quicker).

Is there a fix for this? (It’s got other issues as well, like the fasciae recognition stopped working after about 6 months, the microphone is crackly and it has to be recharged 2-3 times a day).
