How can I use the built in tools to rotate my photo 90°? Rotation to +\- 90°. 180, or arbitrary amounts of my choosing are step one, before cropping even, when needed. This is a basic task for pro’s our amateurs! Are the tools included with the iPhone capable, or is there a good free editing app with this capability?

Open any photo. Tap Edit. Wait a moment and the editing tools come up. See the bottom row of tools and tap the box with arrows rotating above and below the box. That lets you rotate the photo. Once rotate how you choose, tap Done.
