I have force quit sims but the app is still on my screen and it won’t let me come out of it

i have force quit the sims 4 and it is still on my screen i can’t do anything on my mac what am i supposed to do?

Try the following:

Run the Activity Monitor. It is located in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder.
Look for the Sims 4 app under the CPU tab, and then, select it.
From the Activity Monitor's tool bar, click on the circle with an "x" in it to stop the app.

Can't Uninstall Apps Hi everyone, I play The Sims 4 on my iMac but it recently stoped working and I can't get it fixed because Apple don't make the part that is not working any more! My family has decided not to buy another computer and use my MacBook. My MacBook is the late 2019 MacBook Air. So I downloaded Origin (the thing you use to open the Sims 4) and then it automatically downloaded The Sims 4 app (I am fine with that) but then when I tried to play it told me 'can't open, The Sims 4 is already running'. So what was the point in me having these apps on my MacBook if I can't use them so I tried to uninstall them, The Sims 4 app doesn't show up in my applications but origin does they both show up in my LaunchPad but when I hold down on then as you do to delete it there is no 'x' it only shakes!!!!! So I asked a local Mac Store and they said uninstall Origin from launch pad and it will ask you if you want to uninstall any other apps linked with Origin but like I said it doesn't have a 'x' to indicate I can delete it. So I went onto Applications and still there was no The Sims 4 app yet an Origin app!!! So I just deleted Origin to see what it would do and it just deleted the Origin app. I really need help on this, The Sims 4 is the only game I play and I am sooooooooooo bored without it. I also want to play it because I purchased Eco LifeStyle expansion pac but I wasn't able to play it on my iMac due to the Legacy Edition Installed!! PLEASE HELP ME, PLEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEEE!!!!!! in_the_know1 PS sorry for writing so much it is a very detailed thing!!! I need your help PLEASE.
