Can I delete one layer of files/folders hierarchy? Next layer down has just two items in it.

My highest layer in hierarchy is "My Mini". It contains only (1) "Mac HD" and (2) "Network". Where should I move the "Network" folder to? And how can I then delete one of those two layers ("My Mini" or "Mac HD")? I don't want to lose any content from "Network" or from "Mac HD"! I am just learning. Thanks much!

If you want to just not look at them, open Finder > Preferences > Sidebar and uncheck either or both under Locations.
