Wikipedia app search not working after some recent ios release

Hi. I just realized yesterday that the Wikipedia app search does not work on my iPhone XR, with ios 13.3. I can load the app and click on links, I still see content, just the search does not find anything at all.

I then tried an iPad with ios 12.4.4 and found the same thing. I know these both worked in the past (a few months ago) so I'm not sure what broke.

Am I the only one seeing this?

Wikipedia is not an Apple product, best you ask the app developer of support on their website/forum.

Things to try:

Delete the app
Re-download the again again.
