Does the limited warranty count like apple care? If I take my phone to get the screen repaired will I get a discount for the repair cost?

Hey there!
Apple's One Year Limited Warranty does not cover accidental damage. The Limited Warranty only covers hardware defects/worksmanship. When you take the device in for repair, you would pay an out-of-warranty cost if you do not have an AppleCare+ plan.
