Adding new music to specific iPod nano playlist

Hi there.

With the new macOS Catalina (10.15.2) Music app, I can no longer add newly purchased tracks to a specific playlist on my iPod nano.

Help?

Apple Music - Can I pick and choose playlists to display on other devices? I run a summer camp. I have several old iPod shuffles that have scrubbed (for lyrics, etc) playlists that our staff can play for the kids during the day. With Apple Music's newer cloud based system, I can no longer select only the playlists I want on each device because all songs are in the cloud now and so won't download to the device. IF there is indeed no way around this and I need to use an iPod touch, for example (cloud friendly) now for these purposes, is there a way to have the iPod touch display ONLY certain playlists? I don't want the staff or campers having access to my entire music library. Thanks for your help everyone -
