Open Padlock Icon

I see the padlock icon defined in a support article, but what does it mean when there is an open padlock icon at the top of my screen in the middle next to the time?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 13

The open padlock icon on your screen means that you have unlocked the phone by either entering your passcode or by 2 factor authentication.


If there is a circle around the padlock, it means that orientation lock is active.
