Can’t install update

I purchased my series 4watch about one week ago. It immediately prompted me to install an update, I did see the progress bar for a little while, however it then seemed to disappear and eventually the watch just seemed to work as normal. My iPhone has prompted me to install the new update today, I’ve tried installing it through the Apple Watch app on my iPhone however I am experiencing a similar issue. It allows me to verify and install the update, however on my iPhone Apple Watch app it simply shows it is installing. The Apple Watch does not have any form of progress bar and seems to function as normal on the charger.

Therefore again it seems to not be allowing me to update the watch. If it’s showing as ‘installing’ on the iPhone app, surely a progress bar should be there on the phone? I noticed it restarting.
