Keyboard clicks on Signia Hearing aids

After the upgrade to iOS 13, my dads hearing aids no longer hear the keyboard clicks. I’ve read from others that they could hear the clicks after the upgrade but didn’t want to and it appears to be something that Apple needs to fix. We are looking for the opposite solution. My dad likes to hear the keyboard clicks and since the upgrade they have turned off. I checked the “keyboard clicks” option under sounds and haptics and it is on. I’ve also verified the settings in his MySignia App and everything is on. My problem sounds like it’s reverse from everyone else’s.
