I recently reset my iPhone XS... I have been trying for the entire day to get my phone to go back to the last backup which was 12/31/19... It starts the process, goes for just about 1-2 hours & then the phone restarts & goes back to the “hello” screen. It does not be appearing to let the phone back up. My phone & Mac book are running the newest form of software.
None of my content comes back. PLEASE HELP! I need them back!

I know this can be frustrating and is probably is for you at this time. Please clink on this link Restore or set up your device from an iCloud backup - Apple Support where it will show you how to restore your iPhone using the proper procedure. Hope the information helps you. Good Luck. Thanks.

It is. Thanks for the link but it’s a backup on my computer, not in the iCloud.
I have been. I don’t know why my phone is making in partially through the process & then restarting BACK to the hello screen like the restore is not taking
It is restoring it as a new device which is why you are getting the Hello screen.
So when my phone backed up it backed up as a new phone? Because it is is the last recent backup I have.
When you restore your iPhone select restore from backup and use the most recent you have. When you are done if it gives you the Hello screen tap it and set up your iPhone.
