The Spotify Apple Watch app is just a remote control for the iPhone Spotify app.
Spotify app does not stream music to the Apple Watch.
- Apple Music can stream to the Apple Watch
- You can transfer music stored on your iPhone to your Apple Watch to be played offline (Podcasts and audiobooks as well).
- Pandora paid customers can transfer an offline playlist to the Apple Watch for offline listening.
