AW5 GPS accuracy with LTE enabled

I am running with my AW5 cellular and noticed that when LTE (cellular) is enabled, I sometimes get very strange hiccups and glitches on the recorded GPS track. I am running with my Apple Watch alone, leaving the iPhone at home. Before starting, I ensure that my Apple Watch is disconnected from my iPhone to be sure that the GPS is used from the AW and not iPhone.

My watch is calibrated and the results are more or less random. I do not experience the glitches at every run with LTE enabled but I had no glitches ever (mostly perfect results) when LTE was disabled. It does not matter which workout app I am using, I get these strange hiccups with all of them (Apple workouts, iSmoothrun, WorkoutDoors).

A typical glitch looks like this:

I raised a support ticket at Apple for this, but there is nothing happening so far.

I also have the same concern with my AW5 LTE.

When LTE is OFF the tracking is always accurate and in line with GPS precision limits.

When i activate LTE, I notice more hiccups. Sometimes I have big errors (in "difficult" areas).

My watch has been replaced (so it's not a specific hardware issue on mine), I have tried all tips (unpair/pair, pair as new, reset location settings, reset calibration settings ...)

I have also noticed such hiccups when running with my watch connected to my iPhone 7 (so relying on iPhone for GPS and LTE).

So, maybe this localization problem is not limited to AW5 ...
