AirPods Pro case not closing fully

My new Apple AirPods Pro doesn’t fully close unless I put some force on it. Upon closer examination the case seems to be caught on the actual AirPods and I’m afraid they might scratch the headphones due to the small

force required to put the case all the way down.

Greetings, maddox424!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you have an issue with your case for your AirPods requiring some force to fully close it and you're concerned it might damage your AirPods. Based on your situation, it would be best to have a technician take a look at the AirPods and the case to determine the best options for you. This can be done by going to a local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can find locations close to you by going to Apple - Find Locations. This will also give you contact information and allow you to make a reservation.

You can also reach out to Apple directly by checking out this link to Contact Support and they will be able to review your options as well.

Cheers!
