How do I uninstall the latest update on my Apple Ipad

That's not an error. Its a feature. You have Slide Over turned on, and no, it has nothing to do with Kindle.
You can drag the small panel from the top gray bar down until it docks and splits the screen in half. Then drag the middle divider bar all the way to the right to remove the Safari screen.
This will close the Slider Over feature, and any link you open next, should then open in full screen.

OK - I've taken the bull by the horns and tried this but nothing's changed. I took a pic of how it looks and will insert it - the strip at the side is too small to read and before the update it took up the whole page. Maybe it's a kindle thing?
Apple does not allow, nor has any provisions or procedures for downgrading/reverting to a previous iOS version once it is not signed to do so.
Apple only leaves the possibility of an iOS downgrade, from any sognrd upgrade/update, available for a very short time.
Usually less than a week.
iOS upgrades/updates are one-way only.
So, you should always make sure and do some research on any iOS upgrades/updates before downloading and installing them into your iPad.
Sorry & Best of Luck to You!
Well thank you but that's a blow because things are not the same and I simply can't work them out. For instance when the Amazon kindle deals come up and I click on learn more for the info on a particular book it used to come up on a full page - now it's a quarter which is impossible to read and it does't seem as if there is anyway to open it up on to the full page. The upgrade was only the other night though. You're right I should never have allowed it - it kept nagging me.
Since you just did this upgrade,
Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
This is the most amazing thing!! I was all prepared to follow your instructions and clicked on Learn More and it came back to normal on it's own. I can't believe it. But THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all the help you have given me. I so appreciate it.
you can't downgrade to an unsigned ios version
I just want iPad to be the same as it was before this update but thanks for trying to help. I can't pretend to understand though.
What iPad model do you have?
It's a iPad Air (3rd generation) MUUL2LL/A Software Version13.3
Thank you very much for trying to help me.
Thank you - I'm thinking about this. I'm a bit nervous. It's all a bit much for a 76 year old.
