Hello Mrvs106,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand there are some concerns with the screen and Touch Bar flashing colors. I'll do what I can to help.

If there are any other adverse effects, try resetting both the PRAM and SMC that controls both the display and Touch Bar:

If you're still seeing the same thing after the resets, answering these can help clear things up:

  • Does anything else happen with the Mac during use or while shutting down?
  • Do any of these things happen when the MacBook Pro starts up?

Enjoy.

Hi Jerrm_v

thanks for the reply, nothing happens during shutting down and it does not occur when I'm starting up. One day out of the blue when I shut it down before the screen turns black there is a very quick streak of colours would flash before the screen shuts off.

With regards to my touch bar it does it ones (the time I decided to message here in the community) but the unusual colour in the screen still prompt.
