Red bar appearing at top of iPhone screen

Some people have posted they’ve noticed a red bar appearing at the top of the iPhone screen. If it’s not a screen recording notification, then it’s probably a ‘phone listening’ notification if you’ve got ‘OK Google’ voice command set to on.

Hope this helps anyone who’s confused as to what it is. :-)

Yellow and green dot at the top of your phone Yellow and green dot at the top of your phone, The response from Apple is you can’t do anything about it to turn off the microphone on an app that you are being alerted to. What is the point of the dot alert if you can’t do anything about it? That makes no sense and sounds like an excuse for being able to do what you want to do. Why would you need to alert someone of something unless it was something they didn’t want and you could offer a way to stop it?Why has there not been any updated software sent to fix this?

Red microphone icon on iPhone I have a microphone icon on the top left off my lock screen. It is under my signal strength so it is not in the status bar. Never saw it before Anybody seen this? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
