french keyboard
I recently ordered a new MacBook without realizing it was French. I know I can change the system language to English, but what about the keyboard?

Okay, that’s very helpful. The French keyboard layout is different than English. Doing as you suggest would mean the keyboard would function as English, although what shows on the keys would still be French. Ie, what shows as the “A” key would actually type “Q”.
