My emoji smiley face is missing from my iPad keyboard. I deleted and reinstalled emoji on keyboard and now there is no arrow to the far right of emoji.

I have restarted the iPad Air 3 between steps where the Emoji keyboard was deleted and readded No luck. I have a smart keyboard and have performed the process with and without it. No luck. I am current with the latest Catalina upgrade for iPadOS. Another bug!
Duh... I forgot that I had solved this once before... and it's my User Error. The smile face appears when the keyboard is brought up, not by the text area in the Message app. There is a key for emoji's on the Smart Keyboard.
