My emoji keyboard doesn't show on iPad even though I downloaded it

The emoji keyboard no longer appears when I tap the emoji icon. It is in my keyboards in settings.

We understand you're not seeing the emoji keyboard on your iPad.

It looks like you already reviewed Use emoji on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Next, remove the keyboard, restart your iPad, then add it again with the steps here: Add or change keyboards on iPad
