iMac will not recognize new camera

From what I have read you cannot connect camera to computer via Bluetooth. This is for connection to smartphone. Wi-fi and USB are the means of connection to computer. Have you tried USB?

I would think so, since there is no "Canon D 50 Mirrorless".
