Deleting app

I downloaded the app GIF Keyboard on my iPad and now I can’t get rid of it. I tried deleting on the home screen but it only re moves the icon. I still see it in my apps in settings but it doesn’t show up when I look at the iPad storage. I want this garbage off of my iPad any suggestions?

Did you try to change back to apple buit in VIrtual kb. See if that fixes the issue

It's not clear exactly how you tried to delete it. Here are the instructions from Apple
