This is odd. I can log into apple with my apple id (as evidenced by being in this forum, I guess?), and log into the CLoud on my iPhone 5S. Now, when I try to update my IOS , I get the above error message, exactly as printed above.

Any ideas anyone ?

Frustrated and Fed up with my iPhone to the point of ditching it.

Have you tried updating it using iTunes?

Update your iOS device

Get help with over-the-air iOS updates

Update – Can’t or can’t restore

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device

If necessary

Hard reset

Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

Restore to Factory setting

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
